The Saint Nicholas, Narol cemetery.

The Grave yard at St. Nicholas after a beautiful snowfall.

Who we are today is directly related to the struggles and work those pioneers from Western Ukraine offered the Lord some hundred years ago.  Their sacrifices and labours in strange and at times hostile land cultivated the garden that is our vibrant and diverse community. Many of these names have been transliterated from pre-revolutionary Russian/Ukrainian, and as such the English spelling might be different (they are a number of different spelling of the last names of brother).  As well some of the grave stones have been badly weathered in the past hundred years.

It is only fitting that we should recognize their work, and commend it to God in thanksgiving. May their memories be eternal!  Вічная Пам’ять!
